3 New HKIX Satellite Sites
HKIX is pleased to announce that 3 new satellite sites will be established in collaboration with 3 commercial data centres in the coming 3 months in addition to the existing HKIX2 site.  Below is the full list of all 4 satellite sites and the relevant collaborators:

•      HKIX2 site: CITIC Telecom International @Kwai Chung (existing)
•      HKIX3 site: SUNeVision/iAdvantage @Fo Tan (new)
•      HKIX4 site: NTT Com Asia @TKO (new)
•      HKIX5 site: KDDI/Telehouse/HKCOLO.NET @TKO (new)

HKIX access switches are to be co-located at all these satellite sites which provide the same layer-2 connectivity as the core HKIX1 and HKIX1b site so that HKIX participants can connect to HKIX more easily and at a lower cost.  With these, HKIX community will expand further and HKIX participants can make interconnections among themselves in a more cost-effective and efficient way.  If you are interested in co-locating at and connecting to any of these 4 satellite sites, please email to “order AT hkix.net” for details.
