Annual Scientific Meeting

The CEID ASM Committee invites 2018 abstract submissions on any aspect of microbiology or infectious diseases research for poster presentation at the Postgraduate Student Exchange Session (11 June 2018). This opportunity provides an excellent platform for sharing your research findings, enhance your knowledge, and widen your network.

Abstract Format

Abstracts are limited to 300 words
Abstracts should be submitted by 31 March 2018 at the online abstract submission site.

For those of you that submitted an abstract for the meeting, the notification of outcome email was recently sent out. If you have not received the email, you should check with us by sending an email to ceid@med.cuhk.edu.hk.

Best Poster Presentation Awards

Infection 2018 provides awards to students who have abstracts accepted to the Postgraduate Student Exchange Session showing excellence in the field of Infectious Diseases. The awards consist of three cash prizes and are selected based on the scientific quality of the poster.

Conference Travel Grants

Students may apply for a conference travel grant to attend the conference. Applicants must be presenting a poster and attending the conference on 12 June. The grant will cover 3 nights hotel accommodation (share room) and it is first come first served.
