Renal Biopsy, with IF Profile

Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be placed in normal saline and sent to laboratory with “Proforma” as soon as possible.

Skin Biopsy, with IF Profile

Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline and sent to laboratory as soon as possible.

Skin Biopsy, without IF Profile

Fixed in 10% buffered formalin or sent fresh.

Rectal Biopsy, with Histochemistry for Ganglionic Cells 

Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline and sent to laboratory as soon as possible.
