Making of Silver Nanoparticles

合成銀納米顆粒

 

0.0010 M silver nitrate solution

0.0010 M 硝酸銀溶液

0.0020 M sodium borohydride solution

0.0020 M 硼氫化鈉溶液

Saturated sodium chloride solution

飽和氯化鈉溶液

Use a measuring cylinder to measure 30 cm3

of 0.0020 M sodium borohydride solution.

用適當的量筒量度30 cm3 的0.0020 M硼氫化

鈉溶液。

Pour the solution into a 100 cm3 beaker.

將其倒在一個100 cm3的燒杯當中。

Place the beaker into an ice bath. Cool the

 solution in the ice bath for about 5 - 10

minutes.

將盛有硼氫化鈉的燒杯放在冰浴中大約5至

10分鐘。

 

Use a clean measuring cylinder to measure

10 cm3of 0.0010 M silver nitrate solution and

transfer the solution into a burette.

用另一個乾淨的量筒量度10 cm3 的0.0010 M

硝酸銀溶液,然後將其倒在滴定管中。

Stir the NaBH4 solution in the beaker with a

magnetic stirrer bar or a glass rod.

用攪拌用磁石或玻璃棒攪拌硼氫化鈉溶液。

With the beaker containing NaBH4 solution in

the ice bath, add the AgNO3 solution dropwise

from the burette to the NaBH4 solution in the

beaker with continuous stirring, at a rate of

about 1 drop per second, until AgNO3 solution

is used up.

把硼氫化鈉溶液留在冰浴中,同時攪拌溶液

及用滴定管慢慢滴加硝酸銀溶液,大約1秒1滴

,直至所有硝酸銀溶液都加進硼氫化鈉溶液中。 

Stop the stirring as soon as the addition of

silver nitrate solution is finished, and remove

the stirrer bar or glass rod from the mixture.

在所有硝酸銀溶液全部加進硼氫化鈉溶液中,

立刻停止攪拌,然後將攪拌用磁石或玻璃棒從

燒杯中拿出來。

Observe the mixture and record the

observations.

觀察所得到的溶液及記錄觀察結果。

Place the beaker containing the nanoparticles

and a 100 cm3 beaker containing about 40 cm3

of water side by side.

預備另一個裝有大約40 cm3水的100 cm3燒杯,

將盛有銀納米顆粒的燒杯和盛有水的燒杯排列

在一起。

Turn on a laser pointer from sideway such

that the laser beam goes through both the

 solutions in the beakers. Record the

observations.

在其中一個燒杯的一側開啟激光筆,即令激光

束同時透過兩個燒杯。記錄得到的觀察結果。

Tranfser about half of the silver nanoparticle

solution into another 100 cm3 beaker, add

about 10 cm3 of saturated NaCl solution into

the beaker.

將大約一半的銀納米顆粒溶液倒入另一個

100 cm3的燒杯中,然後加入大約10 cm3

飽和氯化鈉溶液在這個燒杯中。

Observe for any changes.

觀察其變化。
