The second international conference on Chinese Translation History, “Patronage as a Shaping Force in Chinese Translation History,” now invites submission of abstracts for individual papers on patronage and related themes.

Please email the completed application form with an abstract of your paper (no more than 250 words) to translationhistory@cuhk.edu.hk on or before 31 July 2017.

Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Organising Committee and scholars invited by the Committee. |

Notifications of acceptance will be sent out before 31 August 2017. |

Participants are expected to cover their own transport, food, accommodation and other costs.

The charge for the conference dinner on 15 December 2017 is HK$250. For full-time students, it is HK$150. |
