Chen Yu (Ch'en Yü) 733-?

Tang dynasty poet. Chen Yu gained his jinshi degree in 792 at the age of sixty. Much of his verse is occasional, but some of it reflects social realities. He was particularly adept at the seven-syllable jueju.
