| Chen Yizhi (Chen I-Chih) 1953- Born in Hualien and began writing poetry at the age of seventeen. A graduate from National Taiwan Normal University, he later obtained an M.A. from New Asia Institute, Hong Kong. Chen is currently the editor of the literary supplement of United Daily. Since 1977, he has published eight books of poetry, the most recent being Wo nianqing de lianren [My young lover] (2001). |
