Dong Jieyuan (Tung Chieh-yuan)

A writer of the Jin dynasty, exact dates unknown. According to the lugui [The Register of Ghosts] he lived in the reign period of Emperor Zhangzong. 'Jieyuan' was most probably not a personal name, but a title of respect used in addressing scholars. His only extant work is the Xixiang ji zhugongdiao [The Romance of the Western Chamber].
