Huang Sicheng 1920-1984
Contemporary writer. Born in Zhejiang, Huang began writing fiction when he moved to Hong Kong. In 1953 he established the magazine Ren ren wenxue [People's literature] and for a while ran his own publishing company. Huang Sicheng's short-stories and novels have appeared in all major Chinese newspapers in Hong Kong. His full-length novels include Chang meng [Long dream] (1968) and Xuanwo [Whirlpool] (1975).
