Li Xiao 1950-

Born in Shanghai. Son of Ba Jin, one of modern China's most respected writers, Li Xiao graduated from the Chinese department of Fudan University, and started publishing fiction in the 1980s. To date Li Xiao has published over twenty short stories and novellas and two anthologies. These include Zuihou de wancan [The Last Supper] (Beijing: Huayi, 1993), Tianqiao [The Overpass] (Taipei: Sanmin, 1989) and Sishi er li [A Man is Established at Forty] (Jiangsu, 1996).
