Li Yue [real name Lee Po 李波]

Born in Hong Kong, Li worked as a copywriter and art director in advertising firms in Britain and Hong Kong during the 1970s and 1980s, and is now an art designer. In the mid-1980s, he became a columnist and also published arts and literary criticism and book reviews in newspapers and magazines such as Sing Tao Daily 星島日報 and Film Biweekly 電影雙週刊. His essay collections include Guanggao! Guanggao! 廣告!廣告! [Advertisement! Advertisement!] (1993) and Jing zhong tiandi 井中天地 [The world in a well] (1997).
