Qu You ¸F¦ö 1347-1433

Qu was born in Hangzhou. He was a poet and a productive writer, but most of his works have not survived. His most famous work is the collection Jiandeng xin hua °Å¿O·s¸Ü (New tales told by lamplight) which inspired the creation of Liaozhai zhiyi. It has also been influential in Japan and Korea. His other significant work is the poetry collection Guitian shihua Âk¥Ð¸Ö¸Ü (Talks on poetry written in retirement).
