Wen Kai [full name Cheng Wenkai] 1947-

Born in Singapore. He started writing poetry in 1967 and has published two collections in Singapore: Shu he ta de ganjue [Tree and His Feelings] (1972) and Cao de xingse [The Way Grass Travels] (1980). He was a founder of the 'May Poetry Club' (1978) and served as its president for several years. He is currently employed in an insurance company.
