Wu Zhiying 1867-1936
An avid art collector, Wu Zhiying enjoyed a reputation as a fine calligrapher and a patriot among her contemporaries. Later she gained fame for her role in the arrangement for a proper burial for Qiu Jin. Several collections of Wu's poetry, prose and calligraphy have been handed down.
