Xiang Ming [real name Tung Ping] 1928-

Born in Hunan. He moved to Taiwan with the army in 1949. He started writing poetry in the early 1950s and has since become a well-respected figure in the Taiwan literary scene, having served as chief editor of Blue Star Poetry Journal and publisher of Taiwan Poetics Quarterly. To date he has published more than ten collections of poetry and three books of essays on poetry writing.
