Xu Diqiang (Hui Tik Cheung) 1953-

Born in Hong Kong, Xu graduated from the Chinese Department of Hong Kong Baptist University. Since 1976, Xu has worked as an editor in various literary publications. He is also a co-founder of the influential literary journal Damuzhi ¤j©i«ü [Thumb] and Su Yeh Publications. Some of the essays from his columns are collected in Nancun ji «n§ø¶° [Southern village] (1995), named after a newspaper column he wrote in the 1980s. He is now an editor in a textbook publishing company and managing editor at Su Yeh Publications.
