Xu Shangying ®}¤WÃs c.1582¡V1662

Xu was a famous qin µ^ player from Jiangsu province in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. He was a master of the Yushan ¸·¤s School, the most influential school of qin music at the time. His most important work, Dahuange qinpu ¤jÁÙ»Õµ^ÃÐ, a qin handbook, was published in 1673. It was widely circulated and reprinted a number of times during the Qing.
