Yan Guangmin 1640-1686

After obtaining the jinshi degree in 1667, Yan held several official posts, including Director of the Bureau of Evaluation, a major unit under the Ministry of Personnel. In his poetry he expresses sympathy with the hardships of the common people. Most of his poems are devoted to the description of natural beauty.
