CUHK Procurement System ("CUPro") is hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and its subsidiaries and/or its subsidiaries and related entities including but not limited to all innovative centres and RAISE+ companies ("CUHK" or "we" or "us" or "our").

The CUPro is subject to the CUHK Procurement System Terms of Use ("Terms of Use"), Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"), Disclaimers and other Terms and Conditions issued by the CUHK, as listed below, in relation to the use of the CUPro (collectively referred to as "this Agreement"). Your use of the CUPro signifies your acceptance of this Agreement, as well as your agreement to be bound by them. You must not use the CUPro if you do not agree to be bound by and accept this Agreement in its entirety.

  1. CUHK Standard Probity Clause

  4. Where applicable, suppliers are required to provide at least one set of operation and service manuals accompanying the supply of equipment to the University.
  5. Suppliers shall, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Secretary of the Tender Board, remain open for 90 days after the closing date of the RFQ/tender.  Once the RFQ/tender is accepted by the University, it becomes a contractual obligation on the tenderer to honor the RFQ/tender. Failure to honor the RFQ/tender commitment will affect the RFQ/tenderer’s future chances of being selected.
  6. Suppliers who do not receive any notification within 7 days of the expiration of the 90 days mentioned in (5) above should assume that their respective RFQ/tenders have not been accepted.
  7. The University is not bound to accept the lowest or any RFQ/tender, reserves the right to accept all or any part of any RFQ/tender, and award the RFQ/tender to more than one supplier at any time within the period mentioned at (5) above.
  8. If one or more mandatory requirements cannot be fulfilled by all qualified RFQ/tender submissions, the University reserves the right to remove such requirement(s) in the RFQ/tender evaluation process.
  9. By submitting a RFQ/tender, suppliers are deemed to have given their consent to the University to release their names and prices if they are successful in getting the related contracts/orders.
  10. Suppliers should declare, where appropriate, their conviction records arising from non-compliance of Employment Ordinance in the immediate past two years. Failure to make such a Declaration may result in the cancellation of awarded contract.
  11. Unless otherwise specified by the supplier, the copyright of formats and designs in printing jobs that are accepted by the University through RFQ/tender belongs to the University.
