The information contained in the CLC website and accommodation consultation service is compiled and provided by the Chinese Language Center (hereunder referred to as "CLC"), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, for general information only. Whilst the CLC endeavors to ensure the accuracy of this general information, no statement, representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, is given as to its accuracy or appropriateness for use in any particular circumstances.
The CLC is responsible only for providing the off-campus housing information through the website and consultation service. It is the sole responsibility and liability of the students concerned to undertake all matters related to accommodation searching and inspection, liaisons and negotiation with landlords and/or estate agencies, decisions on renting properties, tenancy agreement terms and signing, payment of rental, deposit and commissions, property conditions, rental conflicts, and all other matters in the entire process of renting off-campus housing.
The website and consultation service can also contain information contributed by others over whom, and in respect of which, the CLC may have no influence. Users may link from this website to sites provided by others. The CLC expressly states that it has not approved or endorsed the information provided by others on this website or any other sites linked to this website and the CLC accepts no responsibility or liability (howsoever caused) for such information.
The CLC is not responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with any information including data or programs on this website and the consultation service. The CLC reserves the right to omit, suspend or edit all information compiled by the CLC in this website and the consultation service at any time in its absolute discretion without giving any reason or prior notice.
