This was
a hands-on workshop to 'test drive' dozens of eLearning tools and objects
created expressly for Hong Kong higher education teachers by the e3Learning
Project with support from a UGC Teaching Development Grant.
Using examples
from a variety of disciplines - nursing, business, engineering, languages,
and science - this workshop demonstrated how the web can foster students'
interactions with content, instructors and peers.
The web materials
were drawn from more than 100 purpose-built learning objects, utilizing
many different web strategies including animations, simulations, quizzes,
games and peer critiques.
Participants
received a CD-Rom of the workshop examples to take away for further reference.
