Detail: |
Successful case-based teaching and learning requires that careful attention is paid to the design and administration of activities and assessment. Effective case-based activities should be motivating and authentic, and demonstrate application of theories and concepts in the discipline. An ideal assessment design for case-based courses should allow students to play a more prominent role in the design of assessments and encompass a wide range of student performances. In the workshop, we will look at examples of a number of case-based teaching and assessment designs.
