Detail: |
Students can benefit from having high involvement in the assessment process – through either contributing to the marking scheme or engaging in giving marks to their peers. Student involvement in assessment can lead to increased motivation and improved learning skills such as critical thinking and communication skills. In the workshop, we will go through a number of examples of a number of assessment designs that involve peer assessment with students working in groups. Successes and challenges will be discussed.
