A Campus Development Sharing Session chaired by Professor P.C. Ching, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Fung Tung, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor was held to give an update on campus transport planning, the progress of various capital work projects and other developments on campus. Representatives from Morningside College and S.H. Ho College presented on their colleges' facilities and student life. |

An exhibition titled 'Science and Art of Trees and Birds of CUHK Exhibition' is currently held on 1/F, Lee Shau Kee Building of CUHK and will run till 20 June, 2012. The exhibition features the Chinese University's trees and birds. |

A Green Summer Camp, hosted by Taiwan Central University (NCU) and co-organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and Nanjing University (NJU), was held from 10 to 17 July 2011 in Taiwan. The camp was the first joint student activity under the Cross-Strait Green University Consortium among CUHK, NJU and NCU. |

The Naming Ceremony of Run Run Shaw Science Building was held today. Constructed to cater to scientific experimental needs, maximize user safety while conserving energy, the building has won the 2006 Hong Kong Institute of Architects Merit Award—Community Building Category for its superior architectural design. |

A Cross-strait Green University Consortium was formed with Nanjing University (PRC) and Central University (Taiwan). Professor Joseph J.Y. Sung, Vice-Chancellor, hosted the Launch Ceremony on campus on 31 May 2011. |

Ching, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and the project managers of the Campus Development Office reported the construction progress of all New Colleges and the new campus site of CW Chu College during the briefing session held on 14 March 2011. Professor Fung Tung, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor, also presented the future transport planning at campus on this occasion. |
