I know more about the learning process of the medical students there and I found the equipment there is just wpnderful and up-to-date. We have a chance to go around thier laboratory and tried the equipment there. In the carnival and the cocference, I can have a chance to chat with them and thus improving my Putonghua. Thank you for the Campus Health Ambassadors Programme in giving me the chance to go there and have an unforgettable trip.

I think this is really a very good experience to see other's  effort and work in promoting health.I am appreciate that they have big influence to the  outside  that the newspaper will even have their news and that they spread the promotion out to other schools. And hence more people can benefit. Maybe we can also expand our work, let us, the health ambassadors, join the activities to promote health in the society, not just in the university.

They are also very nice to bring us to see their classrooms and explain to us that I learn a lot. This is a fruitful experience to me.

I am very honoured to be chosen to have participated in the exchange visit to Shantou University Medical College.

Although 3 days is rather short compared to the culture we could learn from Shantou and the Shantou health ambassador programme, the visit was fruitful and unforgettable. Not only the scenery, but also the people there including teachers and students of Shantou University are very nice. The simulatory consultation rooms and operation theatre are very spacious which makes me most impressive. I learnt a lot from their passion for pursuing health and helping promotion of health.
In addition, we are already very lucky as we have been fully supported by many organizations especially the University clinic. On the contrary, the health ambassadors in Shantou are always striving for resources for the activities. Their creativity is shown by the success in promoting first-aid skills among kindergarten children. All these have inspired me to organize more funny, attractive and educational activities for the community in Hong Kong.

The 3 days trip to Shantou University gave me a chance to exchange experiences and opinions with their ambassadors. The programme ‘exercise and nutrition’ gave me chance to contact with the Shantou ambassadors and enjoy a wonderful night with them. The meeting on the second day gave us chance to share further with the Shantou ambassadors the experience of being a health ambassador and organizing activities.

The exchange programme also allowed CUHK Health Ambassadors from different years to group together. We had a wonderful time meeting each other and exchanging ideas in organizing further activities.

The trip was a great experience in the way that it provided a platform for sharing and mutual understanding for students of both universities. Through conversations, I could feel their passion and eagerness in promoting health within and even outside the campus. They made me realize the promotion of health is not only limited to within the campus, the context could have been extended much more wider to include primary students and normal citizens. The enthusiastic participation of the students also warmed me deeply.

I would really send a note of thanks to all those who sponsor the program and make everything possible. All in all, the experience  helped us to become a better  Health Ambassador.
