[FULL!!]The Mass CPR Training organized last year received overwhelming response from participants. University Health Service and Hong Kong Red Cross thus organize Mass CPR Training again this year to let more staff and students knowing about the Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the importance of emergency. Details are as follows:

Date : 25 March 2011 (Friday)
Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm (sign-up starts at 1:30pm)
Venue: University Sports Centre

It’s free of charge and welcome all staff and students joining the activity! Participants will get attendance certificate issued by Hong Kong Red Cross and get special offer for the related courses. Year 1 undergraduate students can earn participation mark for the PHE course. The Mass CPR Training, organized by University Health Service and Hong Kong Red Cross, was successfully held at University Sports Centre on 19 March 2010. About 400 staff and students learned and practice CPR together with overwhelming response. This is the first Mass CPR Training in local Tertiary Institutions. The aim is to raise the awareness of importance of CPR in urgent situations, which could benefit the people around us.

In addition, Automated External Defibrillation (AED) machine is also a life-saving device commonly available at visualized areas in many major stations, shopping malls and buildings. To help people to understand this machine, a simple demonstration was conducted after the CPR Training. All the participants learned about the CPR procedure and use of AED machine through the activity. They were awarded with participation certificates after the Training.

2011年3月25日大型心肺復甦法活動剪影 請按此！

[已滿額!!] 去年「大型心肺復甦法訓練」得到師生們熱烈支持，有見及此，保健處再次聯同香港紅十字會合辦這有意義的活動，讓更多員生認識這救心大法。活動日期如下：

大學保健處與香港紅十字會醫護服務部合辦的大型心肺復甦法練習於2010年3月19日下午於大學體育中心舉行，近400名職員及學生一同學習心肺復甦法，場面浩大，這也是首次於大專院校舉行同類活動，是次活動的目的希望提高大家對心肺復甦法在緊急情況下的重要性。

自動體外心臟去纖維性顫動器(去顫器, AED)在拯救生命中也有很大的作用，現時主要車站、商場、大廈等都已備有去顫器，所以當日訓練後也設有簡單的去顫器示範，參加者透過活動掌握了心肺復甦法的基本方法及去顫器的用途，獲益良多，並獲頒發參加證書。
