On January 17, 2026, Prof. TANG Sze-Wing, Director of the Research Base for Humanities Terminology, engaged in exchanges with Prof. WEI Xiangqing, Director of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Terminology and Translation and Professor of the Department of English, School of Foreign Studies, Nanjing University. The two parties reached a consensus on fostering collaboration among higher education institutions in Jiangsu, Hong Kong, and Macao in the areas of Chinese language standardization and digitalization, with particular emphasis on the theoretical research and social application of lexical terminology.
