Admission to the Degree Programme in Nursing (B.Nurs.)

1. 1. Applicants for the Post-registration Degree Programme shall have registered as a nurse with the Nursing Board of Hong Kong or have recognised equivalent qualifications, AND have completed a minimum of two years' experience as registered nurse.
      

      Exemptions for those holding a Diploma in Nursing
      In addition to the above, applicants who have completed requirements for a post-registration Diploma in Nursing or equivalent, at a recognised tertiary education institution, may be eligible for exemption from some of the courses required for completion of the degree in nursing programme. However, alternative courses may be required following examination of the content of the completed diploma programme or equivalent qualification.
      

   2. Applicants for the Pre-registration Nursing Degree Programme shall have obtained good grades in at least one subject from Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry and Physics at the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination.
      

      Grade E or above in Chinese Language and Culture and Use of English,
      and a minimum of two Advanced Level subjects or one Advanced Level subject plus 2 advanced Supplementary Level subject including one subject from Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics.
