Currently, a total of 210 participants, including 22 teacher accounts and 188 student accounts, have been involved in this project.
We presented some of our initial data at the CUHK Community of Practice Symposium of Education Innovation and Technology 2022. The presentation, titled Developing a Faculty-wide Video-based Pedagogical Framework to Enhance Reflective Video-Engagement for Virtual Teaching and Learning, focused on the use of the RICAP framework to assess students’ engagement with video-based virtual teaching and learning (VTL). We are also preparing to present at conferences and write journal articles to publish our findings of good practices. Finally, we plan to post the developed video modules, video-engagement pedagogical framework with lesson templates, and assessment rubrics on a website for dissemination purposes.
