中國共產黨中央組織圖 (2008)

中國共產黨的中央組織包括：

1. 黨的全國代表大會 National Party Congress
   黨大會由中央委員會召集，每五年舉行一次。理論上是是全黨最高領導權力機關，實際上是橡皮圖章。負責「討論和決定重大問題」，聽取、審查和討論各委員會事務，及選出中央委員會的成員。
   It is convened by the Central Committee of CPC every five years. According to the party’s constitution, it is the organ of highest power in the party which is supposed to discuss and decide major issues, to listen, review and discuss reports from its commission and finally to elect members of the central committee. However, it is a rubber stamp which has no real power.

2. 中央委員會 The Central Committee
   由(1)選舉產生，任期五年。在代表大會休會期間執行大會的決議，代表中國共產黨，領導黨的全面工作。
   It is elected by the National Party Congress every five years. It executes the decision of the National Party Congress when the latter is not in session. It represents the CPC and leads all party work.

3. 中央政治局、中央政治局常務委員會 The Political Bureau and its Standing Committee
   實際上是黨的重要權力核心，由(2)選舉產生，於中央委員會全體會議休會期間行使中央委員會的職權。
   These two bodies hold de facto power of the party. They are elected by the Central Committee. It represents the Central Committee when the later is not in session.

4. 中央書記處、中央委員會總書記 The Central Secretariat and the General Secretary
   中央書記處乃(3)的辦事機構，中央委員會總書記則負責召集中央政治局會議和政治局常委會會議，並主持中央書記處的工作。
   The Central Secretariat is the executive agency of the Political Bureau and its Standing Committee. The General Secretary is responsible for convening meetings of the Central Political Bureau and its standing committee, and supervising the work of the Central Secretariat.

5. 中央軍事委員會 The Central Military Commission
   武裝力量的最高統率機構，負責黨和國家的最高軍事決策和軍事指揮。
   It is the highest body to command military forces. It makes military decisions for the Party and the State.

6. 中央紀律檢查委員會 The Central Committee for Discipline Inspection
   由中央委員會領導，是中央委員會負責黨內的紀律檢查工作的專門部門。通常使用「雙規」手段對黨員開展調查，即要求嫌疑人在規定時間，規定地點向紀律檢查委員會報到。「雙規」是司法程序之前的偵查程序，如果發現違反黨紀，會按照黨內紀律處分，如果觸犯法律，疑犯會被送交到司法部門。
   It works under the leadership of the Central Committee and is responsible for internal discipline inspection on behalf of the Central Committee. It may use “double regulation (shuang gui)” in its work in which the suspects are required to report to it on regular basis and stay in designated places. This practice is prior to legal procedure and suspects will be referred to the courts if violation of law is found.

7. 其他中央一級的黨組織包括中央辦公廳、中央組織部、中央宣傳部、中央對外聯絡部、中央統戰部、中央政策研究室等部門。
   7. Other direct affiliates of the Central Committee include the Central Office, the Central Organization Department, the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Liaison Department, the Central United Front Department and the Central Office for Policy Research.
