舉辦日期為2013年11月4日至5日（一至二）假循道衛理聯合教會安素堂（九龍窩打老道54號，港鐵油麻地站Ｄ出口）舉行。鑑於「讓愛與和平佔領中環」運動（簡稱「和平佔中」）愈來愈引起香港社會及教會廣泛關注，本院籌辦是次研討會（作為金禧院慶活動之一），讓教牧同工從聖經、歷史、神學、社會政治處境等多方面了解和思考與「和平佔中」相關之議題。除本院教授主講專題外，更有譚惠珠(人大代表，基本法委員)、鄭赤琰(「幫港出聲」發起人)與「和平佔中」發起人等嘉賓現場討論。最後由不同教會傳統、不同政治立場的牧者，包括蘇以葆主教、羅祖澄牧師、翁傳鏗牧師、袁天佑牧師、吳宗文牧師、朱耀明牧師、褚永華牧師、湯頌年牧師、王美鳳牧師主持「聯合聖餐崇拜」作結。
“Occupy Central with Love and Peace” Theological Conference
The campaign of “Occupy Central with Love and Peace” (OCLP) has been arising the concern of Hong Kong Society and Churches. The Conference aims to present and discuss the issue with Pastoral workers in Biblical, Historical, Theological and Social-Political Perspectives. It will be organized by Divinity School of Chung Chi College on Monday to Tuesday, 4-5 November 2013 at Ward Memorial Methodist Church (Exit D, Yaumatei MTR station, 54 Waterloo Road, Kowloon) as Golden Jubilee Anniversary Activities. It is not only our professors are speakers, but also the scholars and social leaders with different stances, such as Tam Wai Chui, Cheng Chak Yim and the three advocated leaders of OCLP. It will be concluded by a holy communion officiated by ministers with different traditions & political stances.
