A signature of the college is its Creativity Laboratory: an intellectual playground for our students to explore ideas across disciplines, to quench their curiosity, to put playfulness back into their learning.....

The college's campus is yet to open, but work on the laboratory has already been underway. A working group comprising Professor Louis N.Y. Lee, Professor Ming-Chung Chu (Department of Physics), Mr. Bernard Y.S. Suen (Centre for Entrepreneurship; Department of Journalism and Communication), and Professor Marisa K.S. Yiu (School of Architecture) has been working hard to lay the groundwork for the lab, which will eventually be driven by our creative and enterprising students - with friendly guidance from faculty members! A Lights Installations display in May 2012 kick-started the planning of the lab: a group of highly dedicated architecture students, led by Professor Yiu, came up with innovative displays that urge us to think creatively. Mr. Bernard Suen and his students are currently developing a website for the lab, together with other new media goodies, as platforms for creative exchanges among students. And of course these are but only two projects that the Lab team has been working on.

Don't be surprised if you visit the College premises one day and encounter strikingly original and thought-provoking creations!
