Motto

'Scholarship and Perseverance'

• to broaden the outlook of students to acquire an international perspective through college formal and informal education programmes and overseas exchange; and
  
• to cultivate among students a commitment to personal and social responsibility as well as integrity which will lay the foundation for making contribution to society and an enriching life in the future.

Emblem

The College was established with a generous donation from Wu Yee Sun Charitable Foundation Limited. Dr. Wu Yee Sun, the founder of Wing Lung Bank, cultivated a keen interest in the art of penjing and won the accolade of the 'Sage of Penjing'.

The college emblem is characterized by a bonsai of pine tree. Pine tree endures cold in winter, here it is likened to the indomitable spirit of perseverance and the College's mission to nurture the future generation.

The emblem resembles a jade pendant with ornate carve hinting the humble and receptive attitude of a gentleman. The shape also resembles an ancient coin which reflects the profession of Dr. Wu.
