To celebrate the 45th anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a series of eight public lectures will be organized between January and June 2009. The lecture series aims at spreading knowledge through exploring interesting topics, and speakers include distinguished scholars from CUHK’s eight Faculties. Topics cover the fields of medicine, literature, architecture, business administration, science, education, engineering and law. Organized in association with the Hong Kong Public Libraries, all the eight public lectures will be held at the Lecture Theatre in the Hong Kong Central Library.

On April 22nd, Professor Lee Chi Kin John, Dean of the Faculty of Education, together with the other educators and parents' representative have given a seminar on the development of schools and children.
