CUHK 45th Anniversary Public Lecture Series—
A lecture by Professor Leo Lee
To celebrate the 45th anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a series of eight public lectures will be organized between January and June 2009. The lecture series aims at spreading knowledge through exploring interesting topics, and speakers include distinguished scholars from CUHK’s eight Faculties. Topics cover the fields of medicine, literature, architecture, business administration, science, education, engineering and law. Organized in association with the Hong Kong Public Libraries, all the eight public lectures will be held at the Hong Kong Central Library.
Professor Leo Lee, Honorary Director and Professor of Humanities of the Centre for East Asian Studies, has given a lecture on January 9th and the lecture has attracted an audience of over 300.
