In order to enhance academic and cultural exchange, and to promote the study of history, New Asia College, Chung Chi College and the Department of History of The Chinese University of Hong Kong have jointly established the "Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History" in 2007. Under this Programme, Professor Wang Gungwu, University Professor of National University of Singapore, deliveredthe following two talks in October 2008:
