Abstract 摘要

From a recent survey, around one fifth Hong Kong based companies founded during the past eight years are related to biotechnology, health and medical industries. Individuals who can apply basic science technologies to biotech applications (such as the COVID-19 vaccine development), and/or revolutionize our healthcare service by introducing advanced AI, data analytic and information technology skill sets to the health-tech industry will win out as entrepreneurs in this blooming area.

一項調查顯示，過去八年在香港成立的公司中，大約有五分之一與生物技術、健康和醫療行業有關。能把基礎科學知識應用於生物技術（如COVID-19 疫苗開發）或運用人工智能、數據分析及信息工程等技術以提升健康醫療的質素與效率的人，將會在這急速發展的行業中脫穎而出。
