Courseware Development Grant Scheme (CDGS)

The Courseware Development Grant Scheme (CDGS) for 2022-25 is allocated by Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grant (TDLEG) to facilitate the production of exemplary examples of micro-modules (MM) and non-MM courseware, the promotion and capacity building for pedagogy research on eLearning and innovative pedagogies, the development of high-quality Small Private Online Courses (SPOCs) or other Virtual Teaching and Learning (VTL) courses from high-quality MMs, and encourage the adoption of eLearning and innovative pedagogies. CDGS is managed and monitored by the Sub-Committee on Education Technologies of the University’s IT Governance Committee (ITGC-SET).
Application for the funding is now open. Interested teachers should refer to the Guidance Notes regarding assessment criteria, financial and reporting arrangements, and complete the application form. Please use [Staff ID] as the Username and [OnePass password] to access the Guidance Notes. Individual applications will be reviewed in batches on a first-come-first-served basis, and project supervisors will be informed of the results as soon as possible. The project duration is 12 months. All projects must end by 25 April 2025. Applications will be closed once the available funding of HK$16.5 million planned for supporting the grant schemes is exhausted.
