► Abstract
New Library services would be highlighted, including e-collections, HKALL, RAPID document delivery, Information Literacy Online Tutorial, Discipline-specific web-based guides, Information Commons and collaborative learning Library space. In addition, Library services for 334 would be introduced - new Extension to the University Library, Learning Commons, General Education Collections at UL and discipline-specific Information Literacy Tutorial for each Faculty.

► Abstract
In the past year, we had a number of new initiatives to support teachers at the University to better utilize the latest technology for teaching and learning. Here are some examples: • Work has been done to support the production and delivery of multimedia learning resources. • We introduced the Echo 360 lecture-recording system in several lecture rooms. The initial feedback of the service has been very positive. • In addition to launching our own Podcast server, we have worked with Apple to become one of the first Universities in Asia to participate in the iTunes U world. • Investigation has also begun to explore mobile learning opportunities for CUHK teachers and students. Students, for example, can listen to or review the lectures, the tutorials and class activities using their netbooks, mp3 players, iPhone or their iPad anywhere/ anytime at their own pace. They can also view eBooks produced by teachers on their mobile devices. • Plans for upgrading and streamlining CUHK's learning management system are in train. We will briefly talk about these initiatives in the session.
