- All equipment installed by FTNS operators are considered as transmission equipment and FTNS facilities. HKIX will not provide operational support on these facilities.

- ISPs who are interested to connect HKIX must directly approach HKIX for the membership application. HKIX will not accept FTNS operators on behalf of ISPs for all kinds of application.

- FTNS operators must allocate a physical node at HKIX for each customer, it can be an ethernet port on their equipment or pre-wired patch panel in the cabinet. No VLAN trunking or etherchannel will be supported between the customer node and HKIX switch.

- HKIX will directly deal with their customers for the peering issues. Similarly, their customers should notify HKIX-NOC their choice of connections to HKIX.

- IP address will be assigned to HKIX member's router, there should not be other non-hkix hop between this router and HKIX route server. FTNS operators should not alter their customer's router MAC address appears to the peering.
