黃振國教授

黃教授現為香港中文大學化學病理學系教授、中醫中藥研究所所長及藥用植物應用研究國家重點實驗室 (香港中文大學) 副主任。他於 1993 年在香港中文大學生物化學系獲得免疫學博士學位,隨後在美國哈佛醫學院Centre for Biochemical and Biophysical Science and Medicine, Brigham and Women's Hospital (1994-1996年),以及美國哈佛醫學院馬薩諸塞州總醫院Pulmonary and Critical Care Unit (1996-1997) 任博士後研究員。 1997年8月至2000年6月任香港中文大學化學病理學系博士後研究員,2000年7月任科學主任,2001年2月任副教授,2009年8月任教授。

黃教授參與醫科學生(包括中醫藥學生)、醫學院生物醫學學院學生及生命科學學院碩士課程的教學工作。目前,黃教授正在指導六名全日制博士研究生。他亦擔任威爾斯親王醫院臨床化學診斷實驗室的榮譽科學主任(醫學)。

黃教授曾任香港免疫學會及香港流式細胞學會會長,現任香港免疫學會及香港流式細胞學會司庫,以及英國皇家生物學會院士。

他的免疫學研究包括

(1) 闡明細胞因子和趨化因子網絡,以及免疫效應細胞(包括嗜酸性粒細胞、淋巴細胞、肥大細胞、嗜碱性粒細胞和樹突狀細胞)在炎症性疾病中的細胞內信號轉換,最近重點研究免疫調節細胞因子的轉化應用;

(2) 跨部門研究合作過敏性疾病、自體免疫性疾病及傳染病的免疫病理機制;

(3)傳統中藥及天然產品的免疫調節、抗感染、抗腫瘤及抗過敏活性。高通量免疫分析法、多參數流式細胞分析法、CyTOF細胞分析法、多重免疫螢光分析空間分析法、單細胞RNA測序法、蛋白質體法及轉基因小鼠模型已應用於上述研究。
