Full-time/Part-time Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate [carrying the job title of ‘Project Manager (Clinical Project)’] / Research Assistant [carrying the job title of ‘Project Assistant (Clinical Project)']

Prof. Barbara CHAN’s research group is recruiting a full-time/part-time Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate (carrying the job title of ‘Project Manager (Clinical Project)’) / Research Assistant (carrying the job title of ‘Project Assistant (Clinical Project)’) , to work on clinical trials involving Advanced Therapy Products (ATPs).

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical engineering, Life Science, Biotechnology, Health Science and Management, Public Health, or related disciplines (for Research Assistant); OR a Master’s degree or above in the abovementioned disciplines plus four years’ post-qualification relevant full-time work experience or above (for Research Associate); OR a PhD degree in the abovementioned disciplines (for Postdoctoral Fellow), (ii) proficiency in Cantonese and English with good communication skills; (iii) good time management and problem-solving skills; (iv) a strong sense of responsibility; and (v) good research ethics. Having knowledge and experience in clinical trials and Advanced Therapy Products (ATPs) are preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome. On-the-job training will be provided.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting clinical trials smoothly; (b) compliance with protocols, clinical research ethics and regulatory guidelines; (c) assisting in proper documentation; (d) drafting documents; and (e) communicating with healthcare professionals, trial subjects, regulatory authorities and service providers.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
