In this paper, we investigated the role of PINCH-1 in pancreatic cancer-associated fibroblasts (P-CAFs) in regulating extracellular matrix proteins in the cancer niche. We identified the underlying molecular mechanisms and the function of PINCH-1 in P-CAFs and pancreatic tumor progression by using cell-free cell-derived matrix (CDM), cellular and molecular biological approaches, and relevant animal models.
