Objectives of the Assessment Framework
- To facilitate the achievement of internal consistency
- To align learning activities and assessment with learning outcomes
The framework was stimulated by and extended the work of the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering. The Department developed an "Learning Outcome by Course" matrix. The entries of the matrix are given by either T, P or M, or any of their combinations; where
- T: the learning outcome is taught in the course;
- P: the learning outcome is practiced in the course;
- M: the learning outcome is assessed.
