The acronym “H·O·M·E” highlights four distinctive characteristics of College student activities:
	Harmony
		S.H. Ho College is a harmonious community fostering linkages that are both close and extensive. You will thrive on conversations with members of the College, and develop your interests and network through communal dining, High Table Dinner and interest groups.
	Openness
	S.H. Ho College is on the doorstep of Mainland China, only half an hour to Shenzhen by train from University Station. It is particularly well connected with top universities in the Mainland, Europe and America. You will have ample opportunities to study as an exchange student, taking part in cultural and language programmes which will open your mind to fresh new ideas and possibilities.
	Maturity
	At S.H. Ho College, you will gain diverse life and work experience that will prepare and mature you for the increasing responsibilities that lie ahead. Leaders in the business, mass media, government, education and other sectors will share their experience and the lessons they have learnt with you every week during term. We also offer career counselling and a variety of internship programmes to improve your competitiveness after graduation.
	Enrichment
	Student life at S.H. Ho College is an enriching experience. Our service learning programmes in particular let you enrich the lives of others and expand your own horizons. With the attentive guidance of student officers, you will devise and carry out and review your own service projects, working in teams with other students. Service learning programmes are linked to pressing community needs and offer opportunities as varied as helping to rebuild homes damaged by natural disasters and teaching disadvantaged children.
