Short Biography
譚偉倫為香港中文大學文化及宗教研究系教授。他在加拿大麥克馬斯特大學取得碩士及博士學位，主修中國佛教。他曾多次獲得香港研究資助局、臺灣蔣經國國際學術交流基金的甄選撥款計劃資助，用田野調查的方法研究中國地方社會與宗教、中國民間佛教儀式等課題。又曾獲嗇色園資助，主持敦煌中的道教、湘中社會的佛、道儀式、香港黃大仙祠普宜壇儀式傳統等課題。他編撰專書共十四種，另發表學術論文和圖書章節六十餘篇，會議論文八十餘篇。譚教授為現任香港學術及職業資歷評審局行業學科（文科）專家。他在香港中文大學文化及宗教研究系創辦「印度宗教與文化教研計劃」，同時為該系人間佛教研究中心、禪與人類文明研究中心、天主教研究中心的創辦者和常務執行委員， 亦曾擔任系主任一職 (2014-2020)。
