Zebrafish

Zebrafish play a critical role in bridging the gap between basic research and clinical applications. By modeling human diseases and testing potential therapies, zebrafish provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets. Zebrafish models have wide range of applications, such as study of angiogenesis and the related wound healing and anticancer drug development, anti-metastatic drug development, study of neurological diseases such as epilepsy, toxicological screening, and much more. Our transgenic zebrafish (Danio rerio, Tg(fli1a:EGFP)y1) with expression of EGFP in all blood vessels allows direct and easy observation of angiogenesis under a fluorescence microscope.

Metabolic cages

Metabolic cages are specialized laboratory equipment used to study the metabolic activity of small animals, such as rodents, under controlled conditions. These cages allow researchers to precisely measure parameters like food and water intake, excretion (urine and feces), energy expenditure, and metabolic byproducts. Metabolic cages are widely used in preclinical research, physiology, pharmacology, and toxicology studies to assess the effects of diets, drugs, or genetic modifications on animal metabolism.
