| Passport & Visa Requirement |
Visitors to Hong Kong must hold a passport with at least 6 months validity. Visas are not required for nationals of most countries to stay for a period varying from 7 days to 180 days depending on nationality. | Currency |
The legal tender is the Hong Kong dollar (HK$), which is linked to the US dollar at a rate of about 7.80 HK Dollars to 1 US dollar, although exchange rates may fluctuate slightly. International credit cards are widely acceptable at hotels, retail shops and restaurants. |
