Supporting international connections with workshop funding
In August 2016, CUHK launched a new initiative, ‘Research Summit Series’, to support the organisation of workshops catered to early career faculty members with a view to strengthening the international connections of faculty members, and the visibility and reputation of the University.
Sixteen proposals were received for the scheme 2016–17 and four workshops were awarded as below:

Frontiers of Migration Research
The programme will grant fundings up to HK$250,000 for academic units to organise workshops with a cutting-edge theme and engaging activities to facilitate the development of international connections among faculty members and recruitment of early career academics. The programme invites application annually. Interested parties should keep an eye on the next call in August 2017.
