We are a group of researchers at the Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China, who strive to advance our knowledge on human papillomavirus (HPV), and tackle the HPV related health problems.
CORE RESEARCHERS
Professor Eliza LY Wong is a Professor in the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, Faculty of Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, core member of HPV Research & Education Consortium @ CU Medicine, and Honorary Researcher for the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Professor Wong focuses on the policy relevant research on alternative cervical cancer screening and adopting HPV DNA self-sampling to improve participation in cervical cancer screening and prevent cervical cancer.
Professor Paul KS Chan is Professor in the Department of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, convener of HPV Research & Education Consortium @ CU Medicine, and Honorary Consultant in Microbiology for the New Territories East Cluster Hospitals, Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Professor Chan is a renowned clinical virologist with special interests in HPV infection epidemiology, pathogenesis, and oncogenesis.
